In Mob Factory, players take on the role of a lazy adventurer who has discovered a unique way to not only defend their tower but also to automate the dungeons that surround it. The game combines elements of automation and tower defense, providing a unique twist on the traditional genre.

The automation aspect of the game adds a strategic layer, as players must carefully plan the layout of their turrets and factories to maximize efficiency and defense. The player will have to strategically manage resources and prioritize which enemies to defeat in order to acquire the most valuable loot.

The protagonist finds themselves in a vast dungeon filled with treasure and dangerous mobs. Instead of battling these enemies head-on, the lazy adventurer has devised a cunning plan to smelt down their loot and convert it into powerful turrets and factories. These automated constructions will defend the tower and expand the dungeon, all while the player comfortably resides within their tower.
