In Once Human, players find themselves thrust into a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by the Starfall catastrophe. The mysterious silver door’s opening led to the release of Stardust, a malevolent substance that has corrupted the once serene landscape. As one of the last remaining humans, it is up to the player to navigate through extreme landscapes filled with dangers unimaginable, from otherworldly creatures to vicious human foes.

Unraveling the mysteries surrounding the Starfall catastrophe becomes a pivotal part of the game. Exploring the remnants of the once-thriving civilization, players will uncover secrets buried deep within the land. The ultimate cure, hidden within the impenetrable Rosetta base, could hold the key to restoring the world to its former glory. But to reach it, players must band together, forming alliances with like-minded individuals who share the same ideals.

The Deviants, grotesque monsters transformed by the corrupting influence of Stardust, pose a constant threat to your existence. Armed with lethal weapons and strategic tactical items, players will go head-to-head with these abominations, using their wits and strength to survive each encounter. Along the way, players will also encounter the Metas, a group of resilient survivors who stand shoulder-to-shoulder against the chaos, offering a glimmer of hope in this desolate wasteland.
