In The Day Before, players will be thrust into a harrowing, post-pandemic America that has been decimated by a deadly virus. As one of the few survivors left, you awaken to find yourself alone in a world that feels both familiar and foreign, as your memories of the past have been erased. With no clear direction, your only goal is to stay alive in this unforgiving wasteland.

The environment in The Day Before is an open-world, allowing players to explore the vast, desolate landscapes that were once bustling cities and towns. However, these urban jungles are now overrun by hordes of flesh-hungry infected, making every step a potential battle for survival. Alongside the infected, you will also encounter other survivors who are willing to kill for the scarce resources that still remain – food, weapons, and vehicles.

While the focus of The Day Before is on survival, players will also have the freedom to pursue other avenues, such as forming alliances with other survivors or trading valuable resources. Collaboration can be key to overcoming the challenges of this hostile world, and venturing out alone means facing overwhelming odds. However, trust is a luxury in this cutthroat environment, so always be wary of the hidden agendas of those around you.
