In Infest, players find themselves in a futuristic world infested with alien creatures, and it’s up to them to strategically navigate through the battleground Pixel-by-Pixel to eliminate the threat. As a roguelike deckbuilder with a unique twist, Infest introduces a dynamic environment where every pixel is physically simulated, allowing players to manipulate elements such as fire, oil, ice, poison gas, water, seeds, and growing plants to their advantage.

The game offers a branching path system that allows players to choose their own adventure through the alien universe. Since each run is different, thanks to procedural generation, players can replay the game multiple times without getting bored. Along the way, players will encounter various challenges, such as shops where they can acquire new cards or hospitals where they can heal and restore their deck.

Foresight and strategic decision-making are paramount in Infest, as players must deal damage card by card until their stack is exhausted. At that point, the enemies take their turn to attack, creating defensive barriers, throwing damage cards, buffing themselves, and healing others. Anticipating the enemies’ moves and playing the right card at the right time is key to survival.
